Sales Development Representative (Calgary)

Major Responsibilities:

  • Outbound sales and follow up through an intense commitment to our pursuit of excellence.
  • Listen, listen, listen and educate prospective customers on product offerings based on their current and future needs.
  • Provide support to existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to follow up on existing or potential new business. 
  • Adjust and adapt sales approaches by studying potential new customer details and information 
  • Stay on top of current marketplace information on pricing, products and competition. 
  • Solve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Keep skills sharp through professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and building professional networks. 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Customer service/sales experience; knowledge or familiarity with the construction industry is considered an asset.
  • True love for sales and a master of phone and email communication 
  • Ability to rapidly pick up and apply product and application knowledge
  • Self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements
